Rice flour balls with poppy seed filling

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g rice flour
  • 40 g sugar
  • n. B. water
  • 40 ml milk
  • 1 tsp honey, liquid
  • 1 lemon(s), organic, zest
  • 20 g sugar
  • 60 g poppy seeds
  • 30 g breadcrumbs
  • some cinnamon
  • e.g. oil for frying

For the dough, mix the rice flour and sugar with a little water until a tough, sticky dough forms. Mix the filling ingredients together. Heat the oil for frying. Flatten some of the rice flour dough, place about a teaspoon of poppy seed filling in the center, and form the dough into a ball. Deep-fry the balls in oil until golden brown. Drain briefly on kitchen paper. Serve while still warm.
