Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g flour
- ¼ liter of must
- 2 egg yolks
- 70 g butter, liquid
- Clarified butter, for baking
- some powdered sugar for sprinkling
- possibly cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Upper Austrian specialty
Whisk the must with the egg yolk and butter. Knead with flour until a smooth, pliable dough forms. Let the dough rest in a cool place for 30 minutes. Then roll out to a thickness of about 3mm and cut into rectangles using a dough cutter. Fry the dough cubes in hot clarified butter until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and, if desired, cinnamon powder before serving.
