Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g margarine
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 3 tsp salt
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 kg flour
  • Sea salt, coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 12 minutes

makes 80 to 100 pretzel sticks

Mix the sugar with the margarine and oil. Sift the flour and mix well with the dried yeast. Mix everything together. Finally, warm the milk and add it to the remaining ingredients. Knead thoroughly and let it rise for an hour. Knead the risen dough again. Now take pieces about the size of a hazelnut and roll them into small sausages. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and sprinkle with sea salt. Be careful, they will still rise a little! Bake for 12-15 minutes at 220°C on the middle rack. The specified amount is enough for about 80-100 pretzel sticks. It’s worth making this amount, as they also freeze well.
