Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g trail mix (nut mix with raisins)
- 300 g peas, frozen
- 1 tbsp flour
- 300 g Greek yogurt, 10% fat
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 350 ml water
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Chop the meat into small pieces and fry in hot oil in a pan. Peel and dice the onion and add it to the meat in the pan. Season the meat with salt and pepper and remove from the pan. Crush the nut mixture with a pestle/mortar, add it to the remaining oil and fry briefly. Add the curry powder and heat while stirring. Add the water, bring to a boil and add the peas. After about 3 minutes, add the meat again and simmer over medium heat. Gradually mix the flour with the yogurt, taking care not to form lumps. Fold the yogurt-flour mixture into the curry and simmer gently while stirring. Season to taste with curry/salt/pepper or other spices such as coriander. Rice is the best side dish.
