Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g bacon, streaky
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 6 rolls or 250 g dumpling bread
  • 3 eggs (size L)
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives, cut into rolls
  • salt and pepper
  • salt water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

makes about 10 pieces

Dice the bacon and ham. Brown them in a pan, briefly fry the parsley and chives, then let cool. Pour hot milk over the dumpling bread or chopped rolls and let them swell. Once the dumpling bread has swelled slightly, mix with the eggs, butter, flour, bacon, and ham cubes, season well, and let stand for 30 minutes. Bring plenty of salted water to a boil. With wet hands, form not-too-large dumplings. Add them to the hot water, return the oven to the boil, and cook the dumplings in gently simmering water for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the heat, drain, and serve. Serve with sauerkraut or in beef broth as a soup.
