a light summer meal with a Mediterranean touch

Wash and trim the green beans and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cook in salted water for about 20 minutes. At the same time, cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in butter until crispy, add the crushed garlic and fry briefly. Cut or crumble the feta cheese. Drain the pasta and beans, let them drain, and mix in a large bowl. Add the chopped savory (parsley works well as an alternative), pour over the bacon and garlic with the cooking fat, add the feta, mix everything well, and serve.
