Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g einkorn, freshly ground
  • 250 g sour cream
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 90 g honey
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Mix the ingredients into a batter. Deep-fry the batter in oil until golden brown, forming small balls (they will expand). Fry in a deep fryer at approximately 170 degrees Celsius. If desired, lightly sprinkle the finished balls with desiccated coconut, coconut blossom sugar, or birch powdered sugar (xylitol, erythritol).
