Celery Cordon Bleu style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g celeriac
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 250 g butter cheese
  • 100 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the celeriac and cut into 5 mm thick slices. Cook in salted water with vinegar until al dente. Remove and drain. Cut the celery and butter cheese into squares and place a piece of cheese between each of the celery slices. Then coat with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil. Quarter the lemon, arrange with the cordon bleu, and serve immediately.
