Boneless chicken steaks Chinese style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 35 minutes

it can’t get any better

Mix the soy sauce with the honey and pepper well. Buy boneless chicken drumsticks (also known as pollo fino). Place the chicken steaks in the marinade and let them marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Mix the flour with the cornstarch in a 1:1 ratio and briefly coat the steaks in it, like a schnitzel. Grill the steaks or fry them in a pan over high heat until cooked through on both sides. A fresh summer salad goes well with this.
