simple, fast, variable

This chocolate spread is quick, easy, and versatile. Stir the room-temperature margarine and the remaining ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly combined and there are no lumps. Then pour the spread into a clean screw-top jar. This recipe is enough for a small screw-top jar, making it perfect for a little chocolate craving. The recipe can be varied to your liking. You can add nuts, flavorings, or more cocoa. You can also replace the sugar with sugar. If you prefer a more bitter taste, add 1 tablespoon more cocoa powder; if you prefer a sweeter taste, add 1 tablespoon more hot chocolate. The spread can be refrigerated, but should be taken out in time before eating to ensure it’s spreadable.
