Fiery chili strips

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g chicken strips
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 small can of corn
  • 300 ml water
  • some vegetable broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Wash and finely chop the chili pepper. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté the onions. Add the meat and brown. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the garlic, chili pepper, and tomato paste and simmer for 5 minutes. Drain the liquid from the beans and corn and add to the meat. Add the water and cook for a few minutes. Season to taste with stock powder, if desired. Serve with rice or baguette.
