Plums in red wine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 650 g plum(s)
  • 5 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 150 ml wine, red or port wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pit and halve the plums. Place them in a saucepan with the other ingredients and simmer for about 8 minutes. While still hot, pour into twist-off jars. The quantity can, of course, be multiplied. Tastes great as a dessert; also with vanilla ice cream.
