Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g carrot(s)
  • 700 g potatoes
  • ¼ liter meat broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Fondor

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Rhineland specialty

Peel and dice the carrots and potatoes. Pour the meat broth into the pot. Add the carrots and potatoes, season with salt and pepper, cover, and let them simmer until tender. Then mash and season with spices to taste. If the vegetables are still too firm, add a little more broth. Serve with fried onions or Mettwurst sausage.
