scary beautiful
Prepare all three types of pudding according to the package instructions along with the milk and sugar in a saucepan and pour into the “brain” pudding mold. The mixture of the three types results in a fairly realistic brain color. Let the pudding cool in the mold. You can buy a serving skull online as an anatomical model. Then you just need to saw off the top of the skull and line the inside with some aluminum foil. Once the pudding is firm enough to stand upright, remove it from the mold and place it in the open skull. Some trimming may be necessary. Insert the two troll-shaped eyeballs into the empty eye sockets. Pour the cherry compote into a coarse sieve, as only the juice is needed as blood. Spread the “blood” over the brain. It’s okay if it overflows a little. Form small maggots from the marzipan. The grooves are easy to create by rolling the back of a knife over the maggots. Warm the chocolate coating and briefly dip the maggots into it with the tip to create a small “head.” Distribute the maggots over the pudding brain. By occasionally poking it with a small knife, you can insert maggots so that they look as if they’re coming out of the brain. Finally, you can also insert a knife into the brain if you like. Note: When I brought the pudding to the office for Halloween, no one dared to touch it!
