Potato pancakes from the tray

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg potatoes
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp, heaped flour
  • 200 g ham, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for the tray
  • 150 g sour cream or crème fraîche
  • Parsley
  • e.g. applesauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

quick and easy

Peel the potatoes and onions and grate them into fine strips. Knead them with eggs, flour, and 3/4 of the ham cubes (as meat eaters, we always knead at least 200-250g of ham). Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake at 200°C for 30 minutes. Fry the remaining ham cubes. Spread the sour cream or crème fraîche and the fried ham cubes over the finished cake, garnish with parsley, and serve with applesauce.
