Carrot and mustard stew

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g potatoes
  • 250 g carrot(s)
  • 200 ml vegetable broth or meat broth
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 8 small grilled sausages
  • 1 dash of cream, optional
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel the onion and chop into large cubes. Peel the potatoes, halve them, and slice them. Peel the carrots and slice or grate them. Sauté the onions in a little oil, then add the potatoes and half of the stock and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Then add the carrots and the remaining stock. Simmer for another 10 minutes. During this time, fry the grilled sausages or grill them in the oven and cut them into pieces. Add the mustard, cream, salt, pepper, and sugar to the stew and season to taste. Add the sausages last.
