Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 100 ml orange juice
- 200 ml cream (or cream substitute, e.g. Cremefin)
- 50 g marzipan
- 10 chestnuts, cooked
- salt and pepper
- some margarine for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
with chestnuts
Shred the chicken breast fillet into strips and fry in a little melted margarine in a pan until golden brown. Then remove and set aside. Caramelize the sugar in the remaining frying fat, then deglaze with the orange juice and mix well. Now stir in the cream. Crumble the marzipan into the sauce and mix well until dissolved. Now chop the cooked chestnuts and add them to the sauce. Then return the meat to the pan and heat everything together until hot. Season with a little salt and pepper (if desired, you can also refine the sauce with a dash of Amaretto). Serve with green tagliatelle.
