Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section (roll)
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 150 g cheese, hearty, grated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g white mushrooms
  • some oregano
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • some milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Preheat the oven to approximately 200°C. Finely dice the cooked ham and place it in a bowl. Mix in the grated cheese and egg. Finely dice the mushrooms and add them. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix everything well. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and place the mixture in a strip down the center of the dough. Then roll the dough into a tight roll. Brush the cut edges with the egg yolk mixed with milk. Brush the roll generously with this mixture. Bake the whole thing in the oven at 200°C for approximately 40 minutes.
