Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g minced meat
- ½ onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp sweet cream
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- 2 slices of white bread or wholemeal toast
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 slices of cheese (Gouda)
- 1 tbsp oil

Mix the minced meat with 1/2 an onion, 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, 2 tablespoons of sweet cream, a pinch of salt, and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped chives. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a small pan and fry the meat for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Once it has cooled slightly, stir in 1 egg yolk. Lightly toast 2 slices of white bread (or whole-wheat toast). Spread the meat paste on top. Place 1 slice of Gouda (or other suitable cheese) on each slice, then spread the tomato paste over the cheese. Bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
