Strawberry-orange jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g strawberries
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 kg gelling sugar 1:1
  • 60 ml orange liqueur

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut the fruit into small pieces. Peel the oranges so that no white pith is visible and segment them. Combine the strawberry pieces and orange segments with the preserving sugar in a tall saucepan, stir, and bring to a boil for about 5 minutes. Just before the end of the boil, add the orange liqueur, let it simmer, and then ladle the finished jam into prepared screw-top jars while still hot.
