Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 egg yolks
- 125 g sugar
- 500 g low-fat curd cheese
- 1 tbsp flavoring (lemon peel flavoring)
- 75 g semolina (soft wheat semolina)
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 3 egg whites
- Butter for the mold
- Fruit according to season and choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy. Stir in the quark, lemon zest flavoring, and semolina, then add the baking powder. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the quark mixture. Lightly butter a baking dish and line the bottom with seasonal fruit. Pour the quark mixture over the top and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (conventional oven: 160°C) for about 35 minutes. Serve with vanilla sauce.
