Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 rolls, stale
- 250 ml milk, lukewarm
- 4 apples
- 100 g raisins
- Fat for the mold
- 250 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp sugar
- e.g. cinnamon
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 50 g butter

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
very tasty, sweet casserole
First, slice the rolls and soak them in lukewarm milk. Then, peel, core, and slice the apples. Layer both in a greased baking dish and scatter the raisins between them. Whisk the milk with the eggs, sugar, and cinnamon (amount to taste) and pour over the mixture. Finally, sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the rolls and place knobs of butter on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 50 minutes. Serve warm immediately! Serve with vanilla sauce or vanilla ice cream.
