Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml smoothie (mango-orange, 100% fruit puree)
  • 250 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed or 100% direct juice
  • 1 pack of flavoring (Orange Finesse)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 3 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 200 g marzipan paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

In a saucepan, combine the mango-orange fruit puree (also called a smoothie, available ready-made in the refrigerated sections of many discount grocery stores) and the orange juice with the orange finesse and sugar. Take 4 tablespoons of the juice and stir in the pudding mix until lump-free. Meanwhile, bring the remaining juice to a boil, stir in the stirred pudding mix, and bring back to a boil briefly. Transfer the fruit pudding to a tall measuring jug, tear the marzipan into small pieces, and add it to the pudding with 3 drops of bitter almond oil. Blend until smooth. A fruity and delicious cake filling for marzipan lovers is ready. My suggestion: I first bake a light sponge cake, then cut it in half crosswise and spread it with the fruit pudding.
