Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 275 g puff pastry
- 1 sachet of cream powder (Paradise Cream Vanilla)
- 300 ml milk
- 1 tsp, levelled powdered sugar
- 500 g strawberries
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into quarters. Roll the puff pastry rectangles slightly at the sides and corners and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (fan oven) for approximately 15-20 minutes on the middle rack. Meanwhile, mix the cream powder with the milk until pudding-like, then chill. Wash the strawberries and dry them with a cloth. Halve them if necessary. Once the puff pastry rectangles are baked, let them cool slightly. They usually puff up in the middle like a pillow, so press the puff pastry in half right up to the edge. Fill the resulting shallow puff pastry shells with vanilla cream. Arrange the strawberries on top and dust with powdered sugar to taste. Tip: The puff pastry shells and vanilla cream can be prepared the day before. This way, the strawberry tarts are ready in a flash.
