Brownie with sour cream and fruit topping

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 90 g sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 1 cream stiffener
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 500 g fruit, e.g. raspberries, strawberries, blueberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Melt the chocolate and butter. Add the eggs, salt, sugar, and flour and mix with a mixer. Pour the batter into a 9 x 9 square brownie pan. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes on the middle rack. Let cool on a wire rack. In the meantime, whip the cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form, then fold in the sour cream. Refrigerate the cream until the brownie has cooled. Cut the brownie into pieces, spoon the cream on top, and decorate with fresh fruit.
