Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns, green from the jar, chopped
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 pork chops
  • Salt
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Slice the onion into rings. Fry in oil and butter in a pan until light brown. Add salt, chopped peppercorns, and parsley to the onions. Mix the Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Sear on both sides, then transfer to an ovenproof dish. Spread the onion mixture over the pork chops and sprinkle with the cheese crumbs. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes. I like to serve it with potato gratin and a green salad.
