a recipe for the 3.5 l Crock Pot / Slow Cooker
Add the chopped onion to the Crock Pot. Then sprinkle the inside of the schnitzels with the spices and roll them up like roulades with the ham and cheese slices. Secure with toothpicks and place the schnitzel rolls on the onions. Fill the gaps with the mushroom slices. Now pour in the broth, milk, and white wine. Finally, spread the processed cheese tablespoon by tablespoon over the dish. Braising time is approximately 5 hours on “low.” A good hour before the end of the cooking time, stir the flour into a bowl with a little water until smooth and add it to the Crock Pot. Before serving, season to taste with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar, if desired. Serve with tagliatelle or spaetzle and a small green salad.
