Pasta salad with a twist

Break the spaghetti into thirds and then prepare according to the package instructions. Remove the white pith from the bell peppers, wash and dice them. Wash the spring onions and cut them into rings, discarding the root ends and about 5 cm of the green tips. Cut the cooked ham into fingernail-sized squares. Place the diced bell peppers, spring onion rings, cooked ham squares and the drained corn in a large salad bowl. Add the drained spaghetti and stir everything well. Gradually add the mayonnaise and mango chutney. Season the salad with salt, pepper and the Chinese spice – be generous with the Chinese spice; this will add an exotic flavor. Tip: If mango chutney is too unusual for you, you can also use a small bottle of sweet and sour (Asian) sauce.
