Tortillini salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 300 g ham, cooked
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup crème fraîche
  • ½ cup cream
  • n. B. herb(s), Italian style
  • 400 g tortellini (filled with meat, or half meat – half cheese)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the tortellini as usual (but don’t let them get too soft; they should still have some bite). Then let them cool and put them in a bowl. Peel or wash the cucumber, tomatoes, and onion. Dice everything together with the cooked ham and add to the salad. Press the garlic cloves through a garlic press into the bowl and add them to the salad. Add about ½ cup each of crème fraîche and cream and fold everything in. Sprinkle generously with herbs as desired. Add more crème fraîche or cream to taste. It’s best to let it marinate in the fridge until ready to serve. Tip: If kept in the fridge, it still tastes delicious a day later if you sprinkle more herbs on top. The more cucumbers, tomatoes, and ham you add, the fresher the salad tastes. Goes well with grilled dishes.
