Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g cashew nuts, unsalted
- 1 tbsp neutral oil, e.g. B. rapeseed oil
- 2 tbsp honey, liquid
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ tsp red chili flakes
- ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 48 minutes
a slightly different snack
Heat the oil in a pan and roast the unsalted cashews for about 5 minutes. Add the honey and stir until caramelized. Sprinkle with salt, chili flakes, and paprika and mix well. Heat briefly again. Let the finished cashews cool on a piece of baking paper or foil. This process also works with peanuts or almonds.
