Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 pork medallions
  • 1 slice(s) of ham
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • possibly marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • Butter for frying (liquid butter)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

simple snack

First, cut the mozzarella into slices about 1 cm thick. Quarter the ham into slices large enough so that two pieces can cover about a medallion of meat. Sprinkle the medallions with a little pepper and salt. Fry them on one side in a pan over high heat until the top turns white. I recommend using melted butter instead of oil. Then turn the medallions over, sprinkle with more pepper and salt, and briefly add the ham to the hot pan until it begins to ripple (do not cook all the way through, just for a few seconds). Then place the ham on the medallions and a slice of mozzarella on top. Once the mozzarella has melted, the medallion is ready. Sprinkle some marjoram over the top, if desired, and add a drop of the broth, and you’re done.
