- 4 slice(s) cheese (e.g. Gouda)
- 1 egg(s)
- breadcrumbs
- Flour
- salt and pepper
- Mustard
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
or Cordon Bleu with a twist
Spread the ham slices with mustard and season lightly with salt and pepper. Then top each with a slice of cheese and fold over, securing with toothpicks if desired. Coat the schnitzel in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, and fry in oil (like cordon bléu).
