Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g semolina
  • 800 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat the milk with the salt and butter. Sprinkle in the semolina and cook everything, stirring constantly, until a thick porridge forms. Then let it cool. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy and stir into the cooled semolina porridge. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and carefully fold in. Pour the mixture into a greased dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
