Sausage slices with hunter's sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pieces of meat sausage, 125 g each
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • some salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 200 g cream
  • 200 g vegetable stock
  • 1 bunch of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Brown the sausage in oil in a pan and remove from the pan. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Dice the onions and sauté them in the frying fat. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the tomato paste, sprinkle with flour, and sauté briefly. Deglaze everything with stock and cream and simmer for about 5 minutes. Wash the parsley and shake dry, finely chop, and add to the sauce. Finally, return the sausage to the sauce. Serve with spaetzle.
