Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 can/n tomato(s), peeled, approx. 800 g
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 jar Pepper, drained weight 330 g
- 2 tbsp raw cane sugar, brown
- 100 ml vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp salt, coarse
- n. B. Locust bean gum
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
with cocoa, makes about 6 glasses
Combine all ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Blend thoroughly with a hand blender and simmer for another 30 minutes. If the ketchup is too thin, thicken with locust bean gum. While still hot, pour into jars and seal.
