Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g ham, cooked, in one piece
  • 500 g celery
  • 500 g bell pepper(s), diced
  • 250 g rice (long grain rice)
  • salt and pepper
  • 400 g natural yogurt
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 250 g apples
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 2 tbsp apple juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the cooked ham. Trim and slice the celery. Set the thin leaves aside for garnish. Cook the long-grain rice according to the package instructions. Season the natural yogurt with salt, pepper, curry powder, lemon juice, and apple juice. Quarter the apples and remove the cores, then peel and slice. Finely chop the chives. Let the rice cool. Place the rice in a bowl with the ham, celery, diced bell peppers, apples, and chives and mix well. Pour the yogurt sauce over the rice. Serve garnished with celery leaves.
