Chard with pear

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chard
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 75 g crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Separate the chard stems from the leaves and cut into 2-3 cm long pieces. Roughly chop the chard leaves. Wash both thoroughly and drain. Quarter the unpeeled pears, remove the cores, and slice. Heat the butter in a pan. Sauté the diced onion, then add the stalks and sauté. Add the remaining chard to the pan, season with salt. Cover and sauté over medium heat for about 8 minutes. Stir in the pear slices, sautéing briefly (otherwise they will become mushy and discolor), stir in the crème fraîche, and serve.
