Make your own apple cider vinegar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 ml white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150 g maple syrup
  • 3 apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 30 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 30 days 15 minutes

To make the apple cider vinegar, boil the white wine vinegar with the salt and maple syrup. While the vinegar is boiling, slice the apples and place them in a large preserving jar. Then pour the hot vinegar over everything and let it sit on the windowsill for about 30 days. Once the time has elapsed, strain everything through a sieve and store it. This apple cider vinegar needs about three weeks to rest before you can enjoy it. But after that, the wait will be worth it.
