Apple and red wine jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g apple, peeled and pitted
  • 750 ml red wine
  • 625 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Grate the apples and mix with the red wine, lemon juice, and preserving sugar. Bring to a boil while stirring and simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour into jars and seal. If you like, you can add Christmas spices.
