Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg sugar
  • 1 liter of water
  • 100 ml lemon juice
  • 1 bunch rosemary

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes

rosemary syrup

Boil the sugar and water until dissolved. Add the lemon juice and rosemary and chill overnight. The next day, strain the mixture through a sieve and bottle. The syrup tastes great with Prosecco or gin and ginger ale. For a non-alcoholic twist, add ginger ale and mineral water to the syrup.
