Taco Salad

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cans of corn
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 bag of cheese, grated
  • 1 bag of chips (taco chips)
  • 1 bottle of sauce (salsa sauce)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Layered salad

Wash and shred the lettuce. Then place it in a large salad bowl. Wash and dice the tomatoes, and arrange them on top of the salad. Brown the ground beef without seasoning, then mix with the salsa sauce. Add the corn. Let this mixture cool and pour it over the tomatoes. Stir the sour cream until smooth and spread it in a single layer. Finally, sprinkle with the grated cheese. Crumble the taco chips and sprinkle them on top. Serve immediately. Tip: If preparing the salad as a snack, sprinkle the chips on the salad just before eating so they don’t get soggy.
