Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Grandma’s way

Cut the tops off the peppers and carefully remove the innards. Brown the onions in a pan with butter or oil and add the minced meat. Gradually add the salt, pepper, and a little Maggi and let it cook until cooked through. Grate the cheese and stir it into the minced meat. Before the cheese has completely melted, stuff the peppers with it. Place it in an ovenproof dish and add the can of peeled tomatoes to the casserole dish or ovenproof dish. Let the peppers marinate for 10 minutes. Then place it in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Potatoes or rice go well as a side dish. If you like, you can use tuna instead of the minced meat, but then omit the cheese.
