Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g spaetzle
- 400 g pork schnitzel
- 250 g mushrooms, fresh brown
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 200 ml Cremefine (fine cooking cream, 7% fat)
- 300 ml water
- 1 cube of stock, fat
- 100 g grated light cheese (17% fat)
- 2 tbsp oil
- pepper
- Salt
- possibly sauce thickener or roux
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with spaetzle, mushrooms and peppers – suitable for WW
Cut the schnitzel into strips and fry in 2 tbsp. oil. In the meantime, cook the spaetzle, then slice the mushrooms and dice the bell peppers. Remove the cooked schnitzel strips from the pan and fry the vegetables in the pan. Add the schnitzel strips and deglaze everything with the cream and water, thickening if necessary. Add the spaetzle and mix everything well. Transfer the schnitzel pan to a baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, and bake in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. For 6 servings, each serving: 8.5 P.
