Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 220 g plum(s) (California prunes)
- 500 ml water
- 250 g gelling sugar, 2:1
- ½ lemon(s), the juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the prunes, and reduce the heat to low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the prunes fall apart and the mixture thickens. Blend everything with a food processor until smooth. Increase the heat to high, add the gelling sugar and lemon juice, and let it simmer for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Immediately pour into twist-off jars and seal.
