Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g strawberries, peeled and weighed
  • 300 g nectarine(s), peeled, pitted
  • 1 tsp vanilla (bourbon vanilla)
  • 1 pack of citric acid
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries, and chop them if necessary. Wash, peel, pit, and finely chop the nectarines. Place the strawberries and nectarines in a saucepan and puree. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla, the citric acid, and the gelling sugar and stir in. Let it boil for at least 4 minutes, then pour into prepared jars. This amount made 4 medium-sized jars and a small bowl for eating immediately.
