Curry strips with broccoli

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 100 ml crème fraîche
  • 2 broccoli
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 400 ml water
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. paprika powder or chili powder if you like it hotter
  • e.g. turmeric
  • 1 pinch(s) of caraway powder
  • 1 tsp, leveled curry powder
  • Parsley, chopped
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • possibly sauce thickener or flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash and chop the broccoli, and cook in salted water until al dente. Drain the water and set the broccoli aside. Cut the chicken breast into small strips and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Add the crème fraîche and stir to combine. Then add the water and all the other ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally. If the sauce is too runny, thicken with a little sauce thickener or flour. Finally, add the broccoli, stir well again, and serve.
