Strips of liver with sage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 slices of liver
  • Flour for dusting
  • some margarine
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 10 leaves of sage, fresh
  • ½ cup(s) Sherry Dry
  • ½ cup cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the liver into strips and dust with flour. Slice the onions and mushrooms into strips. Then brown the liver in a pan with a little margarine. Then add the onions and mushrooms and fry. Deglaze with sherry and top with cream. Finely chop the sage leaves and add them. Then simmer for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Mashed potatoes are best served with this.
