Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 pack of lemon or orange peel

Separate the eggs and reserve the yolks for another purpose. Divide the icing sugar into two separate 125g bowls and stir the lemon or orange zest into one portion. In a measuring jug, beat the egg whites until semi-stiff, gradually adding the first portion of icing sugar. Then stir in the second, flavored portion. The icing is now ready to spread. It will set beautifully and be snow-white. This amount is enough for one sheet cake.
