Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 head of white cabbage, cleaned and cut into strips
- 1 portion of smoked bacon
- 1 pack of sheep’s cheese
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp sour cream or yogurt
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 2 packs of puff pastry
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Dice the bacon and fry over moderate heat until translucent. Add the white cabbage and sauté. Then add the feta cheese in small cubes. Mix the sour cream with the eggs. Mix with the cabbage mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Add a little ground caraway, if desired. Unroll the puff pastry and spread it out. Spread the mixture evenly on top and roll it up. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 to 200 degrees Celsius for 30 to 45 minutes, until the roll is an appetizing golden yellow. Can be enjoyed hot, warm, or cold.
