Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 1 ½ kg apples
- 500 ml apple juice, clear
- 100 ml apple juice, clear
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla flavor (for cooking)
- 200 g ladyfingers
- 100 ml schnapps (apple schnapps), can be omitted, alternatively apple juice
- 750 g quark, low-fat
- 5 tbsp milk
- 3 packets of vanilla sugar
- 400 g cream
- 125 g sugar
- 100 g sugar
Instructions

to prepare well
Sauté the peeled and chopped apples with ½ l apple juice, 125 g sugar, and the lemon juice for about 5 minutes. Pour the custard powder mixed with 100 ml apple juice into the compote and bring to a boil. Then let cool. Line a bowl with the biscuits and drizzle with apple schnapps (or apple juice). Mix the quark with 100 g sugar and the vanilla sugar until smooth, then fold in the whipped cream. Spread the compote, then the quark cream, over the biscuits. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. If you’re not hosting a large group, it looks nice to layer a glass for each guest.
